Bethany’s popular “Winter Wander” nature walk takes place Saturday, February 3, from 9-11 a.m. at the Cosumnes River Preserve south of Sacramento. Cocoa, coffee and tea will be available "tailgate style.” Trails are wheelchair- and walker-accessible.
An afternoon of goodies and Scottish music takes place at Bethany Saturday, January 20. The event is hosted by Kilwinning Lodge #203 Daughters of Scotia, a local group whose members are of Scottish descent. The event starts at 1 p.m. (doors open at 12:30 p.m.) and ends around 4 p.m.

Sometimes there doesn’t seem like much to laugh about. So we’re making our own fun on April Fool’s Day! Gather between 10 a.m.-12 noon on Saturday, April 1, at Barrio Cafe, 1188-35th Ave (two blocks south of Belle Cooledge Library) for coffee, delicious snacks and joke-filled conversation!
