At the January 25th annual congregational meeting, Bethany’s Administrative Commission presented a budget for the 2026 year and reported on progress.
More than 150 people attended and nearly $800 was raised to benefit the South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership Food Closet at a “Peter, Paul & Mary Tribute Concert and Sing-Along” held January 24 at Bethany.

Lunch and Learn at Bethany! On Wednesday, Feb. 11, enjoy a craft project & a delicious meal while we discover more about the Scottish foundations of the Presbyterian Church! $5/person; reservations limited. Due date to sign up is Feb. 2.
We’re celebrating friendship on “Palentine’s Day”—Saturday, February 14, at Venus Taproom in the South Land Park area. Join us for goodies between 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and bring a pal or two!
Gather as we reflect, pray and be in collective presence in response to the difficult realities the U.S. is experiencing. This interfaith prayer vigil combines with an Ash Wednesday observance on February 18, the John Moss Federal Building at 12 noon.
Bethany’s popular “Winter Wander” nature walk returns February 25, 2026. Cocoa, coffee and tea and goodies will be available "tailgate style.” Trails are wheelchair- and walker-accessible.
Bethany is hosting another Food Closet volunteer morning Monday, March 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:40 a.m.
