About two dozen Bethany members and friends attended the church’s 2026 retreat, held August 8-9 at Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center on Lake Tahoe’s eastern shore. The retreat theme was “True North: Finding Your Moral Compass Through Faith.”

The next Monday Group gathering is August 17 when we focus on “Compassionate Communication”—a skill we all need! Come at 10 a.m. to the church library.
Gather in prayer and reflection as we stand with our immigrant neighbors and their families. This multi-faith prayer vigil—sponsored by Sacramento Area Congregations Together—is happening Wednesday, August 19, at the John Moss Federal Building at 12 noon.
