Bethany offers many different ways to participate in the life of the church.
See below for possible levels of involvement in worship, service, fellowship and prayer.

Our weekly worship and special worship service are open to all people, and there is no cost to attend, (thought we do collect a free-will offering at most services as a part of our worship). We gather for worship on Sundays at 10:30am, and at other times for special holiday services, weddings and funeral/memorial services. Members and friends of the congregation help to lead the community in worship through music, prayer, and scripture reading, and we are always looking for new voices to step up to the mic! Christian service takes many forms. There is the service to our neighbors and community, sometimes called "mission" or "social service"; the service to the church itself, volunteering around the office and grounds, participating in worship leadership through music or liturgy, serving on committees, or in the "ordered ministries" of elder and deacon. Each of these avenues of service is vital to the identity and function of the Church of Jesus Christ, and so it is our hope at Bethany to connect women, men, and children to those ministries of service that are most life-giving for them personally, and for those people and communities who will receive their gift of service. Among the many service opportunities are Bethany’s annual Hot Cocoa Ministry/Food Closet Volunteer Morning (the Monday before Thanksgiving), Creek Clean-Up Day (April), Sprucing Up in the Pines building and grounds work days at Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center (May and October), Good Neighbor Team supporting refugee families (year-round), CROP Hunger Walk (October), Deacons’ Christmas Baskets for needy families (December) and more.

Join us for coffee hour every Sunday after worship. There are also several opportunities throughout the year to visit with others. This includes the Ice Cream Social, Chili Cook-Off & Talent Show, Thanksgiving Luncheon, Christmas Eve Reception, Easter Continental Breakfast, and Church Picnic. Not to mention anything else that might pop up!

Prayer is a continual part of the life of Bethany Presbyterian Church. In each Sunday's worship bulletin you will find listed the prayer requests for the week. We invite you to take these home and pray for one another, our neighborhoods and our world community through the week. To add a name to the prayer list, please submit it to the church office.

We encourage everybody to MP3. Each Monday, stop and spend a moment in personal Prayer at 3pm!
