More than 100 community members enjoyed the sounds (and memories) of Peter, Paul & Mary at the free “Pass It On” concert held March 30 at Bethany. Featuring the musical talents of Peter Baird, Mike Hersher and Lily Baird Young, the concert included 90 minutes of beloved classics such as “Puff, the Magic Dragon” and “This Land is Your Land.” The show concluded with a rousing rendition of “We Shall Overcome.” Many thanks to all who participated and who donated to the collection basket benefiting the South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership Food Closet.
