On Tuesday, April 1, Bethany family and friends are invited to enjoy the newest in the “The Chosen” series—“Last Supper, Part 1.”

We'll meet at 11 a.m. in the lobby at the Cinemark Century Laguna Theater, 9349 Big Horn Blvd., Elk Grove. Click here for the location. The film starts at 11:15 a.m.

Everyone is invited to join after the movie for lunch or snacks at a nearby restaurant.

Tickets are $7/person. You can pay inside the theater.

The Chosen: The Last Supper—Part One is bookended by two major events: Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and His scouring of the Temple. And while not every scene we see here comes straight from Scripture (as fans of The Chosen know well), most of what we see points back to it. The movie is made, ultimately, to point us to Christ, His nature and His work on the cross.
