Rev. Jesse Larson led today’s Easter Sunday service, which celebrated the resurrection of Christ and hope for the world.
The scripture reading was Mark 16:1-8.
A vocal ensemble, accompanied by Sherry McHurd Hanson on the viola and Natalya Guerrero on the piano, presented the anthem Victory in Jesus. Ensemble members included Wendy Aiello, Nga Cha, Kathy Frank, Barbara Greene, Susan Just, Candace Keefauver, KC Shane and Jackie Sneed. Barbara Greene sang the choral introit. The children’s moment was delivered by Jim Guida.
Pianist Natalya Guerrero presented several musical arrangements and accompanied the singing of hymns:

I’ve Got Peace Like a River
I Danced in the Morning
Children hunted for Easter eggs during the first hymn. The service was followed by an informal Easter brunch.
