This evening’s candlelight service was led by Rev. Jesse Larson, with elder Jackie Sneed assisting as liturgist. Readings and songs presented the story of Jesus’s birth. The last of the candles in the Advent wreath—the Christ Candle—was lit by Jim and Teri Guida.
Performing the anthem In the Bleak Midwinter were Lily Baird Young, Peter Baird, Trisha Uhrhammer and Marilee Keene.
Ben Baird served as pianist, presenting several arrangements and accompanying the singing of carols, which included:
