At the August 30, 2020, online worship service, Rev. Jesse Larson reads John 2: 1-12, which recounts the time Jesus changed water into wine. Jesse says that in performing this miracle, Jesus was reminding people to rejoice and to have fun. And he continues to challenge each of us us to know what it truly means to live a joyous, abundant life. Scarcity is the driving force behind many of our daily decisions … and a reason for many of our fears and anxieties. Through God, we are offered not scarcity, but abundant life.
