From AC Secretary Maurine Huang:
At the August 7, 2025 meeting of the Bethany AC, the following matters were discussed, decided, and/or voted on:
AC members want to attend Sunday services and will do so as they are available on a rotating basis, starting Aug. 10.
With gratitude for Mark Strack, member of the Plant and Facilities Committee, we accepted the report of the fire safety inspection and noted Mark will be following up on needed work before the reinspection.
We will ask Ron Carlsen, who is doing much of the outside work, to confer with SSIP about the timing for the tree trimming.
We will follow up with SSIP regarding the construction of a cyclone fence that was duly authorized in 2024. We approved Susan Just and Jacqueline Sneed to continue their service as Bethany’s commissioners for the remainder of the 2025 calendar year and to provide a report to Bethany
Our next meeting was set for Thursday, Sept. 4.
