Worship Service • October 26, 2025 • Reformation Sunday

Elder Jim Guida led today’s worship service which observed Reformation Sunday, when we remember the movement led by Martin Luther in 1517 that began the Protestant tradition. In celebration of the Presbyterian Church’s Scottish heritage, the worship table was decorated with plaid with plaid Scottish desserts were served following the service. Tartan rosettes sewn by Marilyn Huddy were worn by all of the attendees.

Hymns, accompanied by Barbara Greene (piano) and Manh Ong (guitar) were:

  • Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God

  • Fight the Good Fight

  • Change My Heart, O Lord

  • Lift High the Cross

The scripture reading, presented by liturgist Trisha Uhrhammer, was Matthew 25:31-40. Guitarist Manh Ong played the musical piece “Via Dolorosa” during the time of personal prayer and reflection.
