Marty, Ashley, Penny, Kathy, Kim and Lizzie have been long-time members of nearby Fruitridge Christian Church and we are so blessed they have chosen to continue their faith journey with Bethany! WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 23—We will continue to enjoy “Coffee & Conversation” in the church Social Hall, 8:30-10:30 a.m. Enjoy free coffee and donuts This is the perfect excuse to get out of the house for a bit and hang with others. Our new weekly exercise class has begun! It is held at 9 a.m. in the Social Hall. Please show up by 8:45 in comfortable clothes, ready to begin. Our leader is Vickie Mae Denman, a teacher of yoga and tai chi who also is qualified to teach fall prevention. A donation of $3-$5 per class is suggested. Are you a pet owner? Love animals? Your ideas & support for Bethany’s Oct. 4 “Blessing of the Pets” service are important. This is an informal service from 4-5 p.m. on the church lawn. We want the community to know about the service and come with their pets! We need greeters & helpers with set-up/serving of goodies. Please show up at 3:15 if you can lend a hand! Bethany’s Movie Group enjoyed seeing the new Angel Films comedy-adventure movie “Runner” last Tuesday!
Could you arrive at church some Sundays at 10 a.m.? We are really in need of a few helping hands to do some simple tasks such as putting out the offering plates and opening the sanctuary doors. When you arrive, simply check the “to-do” list in the sanctuary!
