At the November 2 worship service, Bethany observed All Saints Day, when the lives of the “saints” in our lives—from all times and places—were honored. Rev. Elias Burgos, who officiated at the service, led everyone in a special All Saints Day prayer and presented a message entitled “How to Become a Saint.” Everyone came forward to come forward to light candles in memory of deceased loved ones.
Following the service, displays of photos and memorabilia were presented by Bethany family and friends in the Social Hall on special memorial tables—including a special “St. Francis” area for beloved pets.
