Bethany’s Mother’s Day Tea & Boutique took place Saturday, May 7—with about forty people attending (including a few husbands, children and grandchildren!) Coordinator Kathy Frank says, “Thank you all so much for all your help in organizing, donating, pricing, baking, making sandwiches, making tea and serving!” And thank you to those who helped clean up on Saturday, and on Monday load leftover boutique goods to donate to charities.” The boutique was a big success, having raised about $250 … $150 from tea guests and the rest from purchases made Sunday morning by Bethany and Grace Church members. Tea attendees enjoyed finger sandwiches, cookies and other home-baked goodies … while sipping tea from china teacups provided by Wendy Aiello from the collection of her late mother, Bethany member Marie Sommers.
