Worship Service • December 24, 2025 • Christmas Eve

Jim Guida led Bethany’s 2025 Christmas Eve service, which featured the traditional Christmas story of Christ’s birth plus familiar carols. Jim’s message was entitled “There Are Angels All Around” and reminded everyone of God’s heavenly presence that is always with us.

Although attendance was relatively small (due to the torrential thunderstorm that occurred about an hour prior), the true message of Christ’s birth came through loud and clear.

Peter Baird, Lily Baird Young, Trisha Uhrhammer and Marilee Keene presented the anthem “In the Bleak Midwinter.” Manh Ong (guitar) and Cathy Sapunor (piano) accompanied hymns.

Readers included Emilie Uhrhammer, Trisha Uhrhammer, Joy Baird and Jackie Sneed. The Keene and Uhrhammer families lit the Advent wreath.

A candlelight procession to the singing of “Silent Night” and “Joy to the World” ended the service.

Many thanks to those whose gifts of ministry, music and hospitality made possible our lovely Christmas Eve serviceZ—especially the Baird family for setting up the aisle candelabra.
