Today’s service marked Reformation Sunday, when we celebrate the “reformed” tradition that is the Protestant faith. Led by Rev. Jesse Larson, the service also honored the Scottish heritage of the Presbyterian Church Bagpiper Neil Henderson and violist Sherry McHurd Hanson added to the Celtic mood of the service.. The scripture was Matthew 22:25-33.

Following the service scones and shortbread (using the recipe of longtime Bethany member and Scots native. Myra Cowan) were enjoyed in the Social Hall. serving of scones and shortbread following the worship service.
