Rev. Jesse Larson led today’s service, the third Sunday in Lent. The scripture reading was Matthew 14:22-32, the retelling of how Jesus walked on the water.
Prayers, poetry and music by Bethany members and friends were a highlight of the service. Participating in the service were Rev. Janice Kamikawa and Cathy Sapunor (moment for mission), Vickie Owens Weaver (music and prayer), and prayers/poems by Mary Harbison, Rev. Judy Davis, Marcie Hettenbach, Rev. Janice Kamikawa and Barbara Greene.
Natalya Guerrero presented several piano arrangements and accompanied the singing of hymns:
