Today’s worship service—which honored the contributions of staff and volunteers—was led by Rev. Jesse Larson. Because it was Father’s Day, dads were celebrated … and a tradition of presenting bibles to children was reinstated.
The scripture reading—1 Corinthians 12:7-26—was emphasized through a skit presented by Rev. Jesse, Cathy Sapunor, Jim Guida, Mary Harbison and Jackie Sneed.
Barbara Greene led the congregation as it learned a new hymn: “Ancient Words.” Natalya Guerrero presented several musical arrangements and accompanied the singing of hymns:
