Rev. Jesse Larson led today’s service, observing the second Sunday in Advent. Scripture was Luke 1:39-56—known as “Mary's Magnificat” (her song of praise). Communion was served; have some bread and a beverage on hand as you view from home so you, too, can partake of the Lord’s Supper.
The Candle of Hope and the Candle of Peace were lit by Christine Ogata Medina, Alex Medina and Jaxon Medina; and Grace Ogata Beutler; with Cathy Betts (Ogata) Sapunor assisting.
Kathy Frank and Barbara Greene served as song leaders. Barbara Greene sang the anthem Mary, Did You Know?
