Sunday Service - July 5, 2020

On this Independence Day weekend, Parish Associate Rev. Judy Davis talks about freedom and the sacrifices it can require … including our individual efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In doing so, we honor the sacrifices of those who fought for our nation, and for the freedom of others … AND we embrace Jesus's greatest teaching of all:  "Love your neighbor as yourself." Today’s bible passage is Galatians 5: 1-15. Pianist Natalya Amelchenko presents several arrangements, including:

  • 'Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus by W. J. Kirkpatrick, arr. Marianne Kim

  • Create In Me a Heart of Love by Tracey Craig McKibben

  • I Surrender All by W.S.Weeden, arr. Marianne Kim

  • Hymn of Solace by John Turner

  • Come, Gentle Spirit by John Turner

  • In Christ There Is No East or West by A. R. Reinagle, arr. Mark Hayes

  • Beneath the Cross of Jesus by F. C. Maker, arr. Mark Hayes
