This popular community event returns on Sunday, October 6, at 4 p.m. The brief service and pet blessing will take place on the church lawn.
Simply load your dog, cat, bird, turtle … whatever! … into your car and drive to the church parking lot at 5625-24th Street (just south of Fruitridge Road, about a mile south of Sacramento City College). There will be music and a special message by Jim Guida (“Must Be Guida”) Each pet will then receive a personal blessing.
Children are welcome to bring ther favorite stuffed animals to be blessed. If you can’t get your pet into a car, bring a photo!
Masks are not required but will be available. If you prefer to be really “safe and socially distanced,” you can wait in your car and we will come to your vehicle to bless your pet there.
Cookies and punch will be served after the brief service of blessing.
You don’t have to be a member of any church to show your love and devotion to your pet! Everybody is welcome at this low-key, fun event.
