Ibram X. Kendi's "How to Be An Antiracist" Is Next Book Study

Bethany’s next book study/discussion will feature Ibram X. Kendi’s New York Times bestseller How to Be An Antiracist. Kendi is a professor of history and international relations, and the founding director of American University’s Antiracist Research and Policy Center. His 2016 book Stamped from the Beginning was well-received, earning numerous honors including the National Book Award for Nonfiction.

The book study will take place via Zoom on the following Tuesdays, 7-8:15 p.m.—

  • October 20 — discuss Chapter 1

  • November 17

  • December 1

  • December 15

  • additional sessions will be scheduled after Christmas
