Thank you, Rev. Janice Kamikawa, and worship committee members (and elders) Barbara Greene, Cathy Sapunor and Jackie Sneed, for co-leading yesterday’s worship service … and to worship team members Manh Ong (music) and Nga Chau (sound & screen) for the important roles they play today and every Sunday. It was a treat to have former pastor Rev. Lew Rooker participate as a musician yesterday.
Speaking of Rev. Rooker … he will be preaching at Bethany this coming Sunday (August 2). Be sure to come and hear him speak! You can tune in via Facebook starting 10:25 to view the service from home. As it’s the first Sunday of the month, communion will be served. Please bring non-perishable items for our monthly food closet collection.

WEDNESDAY, July 29—We will continue to enjoy “Coffee & Conversation” in the church Social Hall, 8:30-10:30 a.m. Enjoy free coffee and donuts This is the perfect excuse to get out of the house for a bit and hang with others. Bethany’s Movie Group saw “The Odyssey” last week … what an epic production! All came away very impressed and recommending it.
Could you arrive at church some Sundays at 10 a.m.? We are really in need of a few helping hands to do some simple tasks such as putting out the offering plates and opening the sanctuary doors. See Cathy Sapunor or just pick a Sunday on the sign-up sheet near the front of the sanctuary!
