TODAY—May 4—Just who WAS Jesus? We'll explore his life and legacy in a new 8-part series “Who Was Jesus” that meets Mondays through June 22. Come to the church at 9:15 a.m. for refreshments and social time. The class starts promptly at 9:30 a.m. and concludes at 11 a.m. There’s no cost to participate and there are no materials to buy. TUESDAY, May 5—Bethany’s Movie Group invites all to attend this week's movie outing. The group will be seeing "The Devil Wears Prada 2.” The film starts at 1:05 p.m. at the Cinemark Century Laguna Theater, 9349 Big Horn Blvd., Elk Grove. Registration/interest forms are now available for Bethany’s annual Friends & Family Retreat Aug. 7-9 at Lake Tahoe. The theme is “True North: Finding Your Moral Compass Through Faith.” Participants will explore ways in which their faith can be defined and enhanced.
