What's Happening

We are pleased to again welcome Rev. Jack McNary to the pulpit yesterday. Next Sunday (Feb. 1) Elder Pat Terry will be preaching. Communion will be served. Please bring non-perishable items for our monthly food closet collection.

We give thanks for the leadership provided by members of Bethany’s Administrative Commission, which has been working with our congregation for nearly one year to help in the transition time without a pastor. At yesterday’s annual congregational meeting, the AC presented a budget for the coming year and reported on progress. Thank you, AC members Maurine Huang (Parkview Presbyterian Church), Ron Johnson (Federated Church Placerville), Rev. Dexter McNamara (Elk Grove Presbyterian), Dave Studer (Carmichael Presbyterian Church) and William Yee (Parkview Presbyterian).

More than 150 people attended and nearly $800 was raised to benefit the South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership Food Closet. Thank you, Baird family, for organizing this wonderful event, which was co-sponsored by the Renaissance Society of Sacramento State University. Click above to see some photos from the event.
