What's Happening

Yesterday we were pleased to welcome Rev. Jack McNary to the pulpit, along with our own “three kings." Many thanks to Saul Rivera, Manh Ong and Tom Uhrhammer for portraying the magi at the worship service. Each presented small gifts to those in attendance in observance of Epiphany—the day traditionally celebrated in remembrance of when the three wise men visited the baby Jesus. A rosca de reyes (three kings cake) was served following the service. Many thanks to everyone who helped with this celebration.

The final “Bible 101” class meets today (Monday, January 12, at 10 a.m.) Whether you attended any of the prior sessions or not, you will find something interesting to learn about your Bible and how it is useful to us in our lives. Click for details.

Tomorrow, Jan. 13, is the next Bethany Movie Group outing. Wednesday, Jan. 13, is our 11th “Coffee & Conversation” … happening each Wednesday 8:30-10:30 a.m. in the Social Hall! Enjoy free coffee and pastries. It’s informal; drop in any time. Come by yourself or bring a friend. Questions? Want to help? See Mark Strack. More details here.

This is your invitation to make a financial pledge to Bethany for 2026. “Moving Forward With God: Count Me In!” is the theme, signifying that each of us is an active participant in the work of the lord here in our community.
