Bethany is again serving as a “cooling center” several days this week (Weds.-Fri., July 10-12) from 3-8 p.m. due to unparalleled temperatures in the Sacramento region. If your home isn’t air-conditioned, or if you simply want a chance to come and visit with friends, stop by 3-8 p.m. You will be greeted by volunteers and offered a nice, cold beverage. Pets are welcome as long as on leash or crated. Many thanks to Susan Just and Barbara Greene for organizing this outreach effort.
