Hot Cocoa Ministry Held November 21

Bethany provided cookies, cake and freshly baked brownies to the several dozen SSIP Food Closet volunteers on duty on November 21—one of the Food Closet’s busiest days of the year. Howard McMackin made coffee and tea, and the Medina boys (Alex and Jaxon) with Grandma Cathy Sapunor helped make cocoa. Many thanks to Jackie Sneed for helping prep and serve and to Sammie Fernandez and Kathy Frank for donating goodies and cocoa! SSIP Director Simon Yeh reported that close to 800 families were served the day before, so refreshments for their hard-working volunteers were welcomed! Click here to see pictures!
