Rev. Jesse Larson led today’s service, which honored loved ones and leaders who have recently passed away. Today’s scripture, read by Rev. Judy Davis, was Hebrews 12: 1-2.

Names of departed loved ones were read aloud by Rev. Judy Davis to the sound of a bell chimed by elder Barbara Greene.
Newly ordained elder Candace Keefauver presented the Moment for Mission, speaking on the importance of stewardship and of Bethany’s upcoming 2022 giving campaign.
Elders Peter Baird and Barbara Greene served as song leaders, directing the congregation in the hymns:

They also sang as an anthem the spiritual Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.
Pianist Natalya Amelchenko accompanied singing and presented the prelude and postlude.
