Jesse Larson starts with a prayer of confession and reads from Luke 19: 1-20—the story of Zacchaeus, the tax collector who climbed a tree to hear Jesus—and thus became inspired to change his ways. Rev. Jesse says, “Like Zacchaeus, we all have our shortcomings. Yet Zacchaeus was a go-getter who creatively overcame his disadvantages. We shouldn't just sit back and wait for things to happen.
