Sunday Service - August 16, 2020

Today, Rev. Jesse Larson starts with a prayer of confession and reads from Luke 19: 1-20—the story of Zacchaeus, the tax collector who climbed a tree to hear Jesus—and thus became inspired to change his ways. Rev. Jesse says, “Like Zacchaeus, we all have our shortcomings. Yet Zacchaeus was a go-getter who creatively overcame his disadvantages. We shouldn't just sit back and wait for things to happen. Rather, we are the change agents that the Holy Spirit works through to build the Kingdom of God here on earth.” Natalya Amelchenko enriches the service with her presentation of several lovely piano arrangements, including:
