Peter, Paul & Mary Tribute Concert and Sing-Along • January 24, 2026

Close to 200 community members enjoyed the sounds (and memories) of Peter, Paul & Mary at the free concert held January 24 at Bethany. Featuring the musical talents of Peter Baird, Mike Hersher and Lily Baird Young, the concert included 90 minutes of beloved classics such as “Puff, the Magic Dragon” and “This Land is Your Land.” The concert was co-sponsored by the Renaissance Society of Sacramento State University. Many thanks to all who helped organize the event, who participated and who donated to the collection basket; close to $800 was raised to benefit the South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership Food Closet!
