In keeping with state and county guidelines, Bethany is reopening its sanctuary for weekly worship services starting Sunday, June 27.
To help ensure continued safety, we ask that everyone read and adhere to the following guidelines:
California and Sacramento County guidelines do not require the wearing of masks by those who have been fully vaccinated. We recognize that some folks may wish to continue to wear masks. Please do what feels comfortable and safe for you.
Rather than gathering in the Social Hall or kitchen before the service, we ask that you come straight from your car to the sanctuary. Use the exterior sanctuary doors. This relieves overcrowding in the hallway. All other doors will be locked during the worship service.
Instead of passing around the attendance pads, we will have our greeter(s) welcome you and note your presence.
We suggest you continue to keep appropriate distance between you and non-family members. There is ample room in the sanctuary to enable everyone to “spread out.”
Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or running a fever.
If you become ill following a worship service, please contact the church office ASAP.
Services will continue to be available for viewing at home live on Facebook or later Sunday night on the website.
You can also hear the worship service live from your car in the church parking lot. The service is broadcast low=frequency (94.9 on your car radio dial) within the immediate vicinity of the church.
We welcome everyone to come be present in the exciting weeks to come when we can “make a joyful noise unto the Lord” together!
Worship service starts at 10:30 a.m. Please arrive around 10:15 a.m. so you do not miss any of the beautiful pre-worship music.
