Annual Holiday Theater Outing

Head down the Rabbit Hole with Bethany at our annual holiday theater outing. This year we will see the City Theatre production of Alice in Wonderland, told in the traditionally wacky British “panto” style. Based on classic children's stories and performed during the Yuletide season in England, pantos are a fun melodramatic mash-up of fairy tale, slapstick comedy and audience participation, for all ages to enjoy. Hosted by “Loretta B. Goode” (the popular Lew Rooker), this year's show is bigger, better and more outrageous than ever, with the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, and all your favorite Lewis Carroll characters being pursued by the evil Queen of Hearts.

We’ll gather outside the Art Court Theatre at Sacramento City College between 1:30-1:45 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, to see the show. Tickets are $10/student, $15/senior and $18/general admission—payable with check or cash at the door. Curtain time is 2 p.m. Seating is limited, so contact Cathy Sapunor BY DECEMBER 1 if you want to attend!
