On Tuesday, Nov. 11, Bethany family and friends are invited to see the acclaimed new film “Sarah’s Oil.” This movie is based on the true story of Sarah Rector, an African American girl born in Oklahoma Territory in the early 1900s, who believed there was oil beneath the barren land she was allotted and whose faith was proven right.
The movie starts at 11:35 a.m. at the Cinemark Century Laguna Theater, 9349 Big Horn Blvd., Elk Grove. Click here for the location. Meet in the lobby at 11:05 a.m. Tickets are $7 inside the lobby.
Anyone and everyone can participate in movie outings, which take place 3-4 times a month.
