The third in a series of fall 2024 Bible study gatherings on the topic “Fruit of the Spirit” takes place Thursday, Nov 14, at 10 a.m. The group will meet in the church library. This session’s topic is “peace.”
Come at 9:30 a.m. for coffee and conversation, with each class held 10-11:30 a.m.
There’s no need to sign up in advance, but it is helpful for us to have enough free books for everyone. If you are interested in attending, e-mail Cathy Sapunor, PW leader.
People may participate via Zoom from home. The Zoom link will be posted for each session. The Zoom portion of the gathering is 10:15-11:30 a.m. Zoom links are posted here.
The study is based on the book “Tending the Wild Garden: Growing in the Fruit of the Spirit” by Eugenia Ann Gamble. This is a guide to cultivating an inward relationship with the Spirit through daily scriptures, prayer, and other spiritual practices. The author explores the true meaning behind each of the virtues in the apostle Paul’s list of “fruit of the spirit,” guiding us to discover anew what it means to be a deeply loved child of God indwelt by God’s Spirit.
