Members and regular attendees, please stay after the worship service on Sunday, January 8, for a very important gathering. A free lunch will be served and we will hear from the Presbyterian Foundation about strategies other churches are engaging to help deal with declining membership and aging congregations. Bethany’s church-wide reading and discussing of the Sailboat Church book, followed up by its 40 Days of Prayer project, will have helped everyone prepare for this meeting.

The Presbyterian Foundation’s involvement stems from its Project Regeneration initiative, which is helping numerous congregations assess and plan for the future.

It will be a lengthy but satisfying meeting! Please plan on attending.
