Get ready to set sail … on an adventure of discovery. Bethany is one of many Presbyterian churches across the U.S. starting a process of “regeneration”—looking toward the future while being realistic about resources. We will be reading and discussing a small book by Joan S. Gray called Sailboat Church: Helping Your Church Rethink its Mission and Practice.

Copies of the book are free; you can pick yours up at Sunday morning worship services or contact Maria in the church office to have a copy sent or delivered to you.

Every other week, another chapter of the book will be discussed. Several times will be offered: after the worship service on Sunday mornings, on Mondays at 10 a.m. in the Social Hall, and via Zoom on Wednesdays at 6 p.m.

Bethany’s Spiritual Formation Commission, led by Jackie Sneed, is organizing the gatherings.
