In observance of Creek Week in Sacramento County, Bethany will again sponsor a team to help clean up the small creek that runs through Sheldon Park (near Florin Mall). Meet at Sheldon Park, 6000 Orange Avenue (about 10 minutes away from the church) at 8:55 a.m. Everyone who helps gets a Creek Week t-shirt to wear to church on Sunday morning! Wear clothes that can get dirty … bring yard gloves … and if you have a “trash grabber pole” please bring it. An optional outing to Carmichael Park for a free hot dog lunch and Creek Week Fair will follow our clean-up activity.
