You told us you liked stuff that tells a story. So we’re rounding up s’more!
The S’more Stuff of Story showing of original art and beloved artifacts will take place Sunday, October 13, from 1-4 p.m. at Bethany Church. All are welcome to enter and there’s no cost to participate.
NEW THIS YEAR!! You can reserve your space online.
Bring your creation or collection of “stuff” (nothing of high monetary value, please) to the church social hall Saturday, October 12, any time between 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Please bring with it a copy of the space reservation form (download here) if you haven’t already sent it to us. Or you can fill it out in person on Saturday.
What can you enter? Hmmm … paintings, sketches (even doodles), arts-and-crafts, jewelry, knitting and other textile/thread projects, photographs, a poem, a scrapbook, the vase your grandma bought on her honeymoon, your junior high school gum wrapper collection … you name it, we’ll display it. Children’s artwork and projects are especially welcomed. Please look carefully at the reservation form for details about framing artwork.
S’more Stuff of Story is the third annual art and collections show presented by The Gathering creative arts ministry, which is housed at Bethany. Treasured possessions and hand-crafted art tell many a story. Express yourself by offering something for display!
