Would you like to share your blessings with others through providing them food for a holiday meal this year?
Consider making a donation to Bethany’s Deacons’ Christmas Basket Program.
Bring or mail a check made payable to Bethany Presbyterian Church; on the memo line write "For Deacons' Christmas Basket Program." Bethany’s Deacons will use these donations to share Christmas baskets with those in the community who will benefit from them.
PLUS … while you are shopping, please watch for sales and purchase non-perishable items suitable for a Christmas dinner. Examples: stuffing mix, boxed mashed potatoes, canned green beans. Place donated items in the collection box located in the narthex (the small lobby outside the sanctuary). On the final Sunday—December 16—fresh fruit (no bananas, please) and veggies, breads and perishables may be brought.
If you know of an individual or a family who could benefit from receiving a Christmas food basket from Bethany’s deacons, please contact Rev. Judy Davis or Jim Carter, Moderator of the Deacons.
