Dear Members and Friends at Bethany Presbyterian Church,

This is a special invitation.

As we move into summer, your elders are faithfully at work maintaining Sunday worship and keeping in touch with the Bethany fellowship. And the Administrative Commission is coordinating with your Session members to plan for two focus group gatherings in June.

Our working title is "Focusing the Future: An Opportunity to Share Hearts and Minds About Challenges and Plans for Bethany."

There are, indeed, challenges ahead — financial questions to be answered, property management to be considered, and, most important, the worship and program life of the historic Bethany fellowship to be discussed. And your prayerful, creative insights are essential to this process.

We hope you will join us right after worship on Sundays, June 9th and June 23rd, as we listen to each other and begin to sense God's leading for the next steps forward.

Whatever the future may hold, we continue to know Who holds the future. And we believe with the Apostle Paul that, "God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord." (1 Corinthians 1:9)
