Preaching today—Mother’s Day—are Parish Associate Rev. Judy Davis and Rev. Janice Kamikawa. Rev. Judy and Rev. Janice share how the “intergenerational” nature of faith enables us to both carry on traditions and to find new and creative ways to enhance spirituality. The scripture passage of John 15: 9-17 reminds us how important it is to love and cherish one another.
Guest vocalist Martin Beal sings a solo accompanied by Bethany Music Director Dr. May Tuan Tucker, who presents several classical and contemporary worship pieces. Sing-along hymns include “I Love You, Lord” and “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.”
