Today’s online worship service features music by pianist Natalya Amelchenko and an uplifting message by Rev. Jesse Larson. Jesse reads Genesis 2: 1-4—the creation story—and talks about the possibility of renewal for each of us. He says that as Christians, we can embrace alternatives and solutions to help deal with stress. The church offers the gift of rest, of grace and invites us to “come as we” are with no expectation of having to DO anything. Rev. Jesse urges us to take time to enjoy all that creation has to offer … to turn off our connection to social media … and let silence fill our souls with wonder.
