Sunday Service • September 27, 2020

Rev. Jesse Larson welcomes all to Bethany’s September 27 online worship service and reads Ephesians 15: 1-23, in which we again hear of God's love and good intentions for us.

Jesse relates that today's crises are unimaginable … yet also somehow manageable … when we keep perspective. Perspective is what keeps us grounded and enables us to prioritize what's truly significant in life. And it includes gratitude for what is really matters in our lives as well as the ability to not sweat the small stuff. But Paul's words comfort us and remind us that God is in control and that we belong to God.

Pianist Natalya Amelchenko presents contemporary renditions of numerous hymns, including:

  • Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God

  • A Mighty Fortress is Our God

  • I Love You, Lord

  • Breathe On Me, Breath of God

  • Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing

  • Just a Closer Walk With Thee

  • and more
