Who was that man without his trousers during the Sunday, April 16 worship service? Jim Guida (of course!) He was just one of many who wore fun outfits and hats at Bethany’s observation of “Holy Humor Sunday,” an ancient tradition brought to Bethany by Rev. Jesse Larson. Rev. Jesse’s message emphasized how humor plays an important role in overcoming challenges … and that we should celebrate with joy the resurrection of Christ. Attendees shared fun memories and jokes and all posed for a photo following the service. Then everyone enjoyed refreshments, which included “dirt and worms” (aka Oreo pie).
