Amidst yips and yaps and howls, about a dozen pets were blessed at Bethany’s “Blessing of the Pets” event Sunday afternoon, October 23. Rev. Jesse Larson asked each pet parent to introduce his/her pet and all were blessed as a group. Each family took home a pet scarf and keepsake “bless my pet” medal commemorating St. Francis, the patron saint of animals. Many thanks to those who helped make this event a success!
