As a follow-up to Bethany’s Taizé-style worship service held October 16, participants were invited to take the first steps on the new (temporary) labyrinth created on the church patio.
Drawn with tempera chalk paint, the labyrinth is intended to be transient in nature, lasting only through the first few rainstorms of the season.
Feel free to stop by any day during the week to walk this brief but meaningful spiritual path by yourself or with a friend. Park on the 24th Street side of the church and you will see the labyrinth chalked onto the pavement of the patio, just off the walkway leading between the street and the social hall. A helpful sheet listing “tips for visiting the labyrinth” is posted next to it. Many thanks to the volunteers who drew the labyrinth: Maria Mar, Jim Davis and Cathy Sapunor.
