Several Bethany-ites gathered Saturday, November 27, to “deck the halls” of the church sanctuary. At this annual decorating morning, which we call “The Hanging of the Greens,” the church Christmas tree is set up … wreaths are hung (including the Advent candle wreath, which requires climbing a very tall ladder!) … the creche is unpacked … and the worship table prepared. Help will be needed setting up for the Christmas Eve candlelight service; we hope folks will volunteer! Thank you to Saturday’s helpers as well as to Jim Guida for providing leadership and the tasty donuts.
