More than $40 in pocket change was tossed in the “SSIP Food Closet boot” at Bethany’s Nov. 14 worship service. The donations were made on behalf of those participating in Bethany’s “Walk to Feed the Hungry,” held that afternoon at the Cosumnes River Preserve. Three miles were hiked by walkers Jackie Sneed, Rev. Janice Kamikawa and Cathy Sapunor.
