Rev. Elias Burgos led today’s service, which observed Transfiguration Sunday. Scripture readings included Exodus 34:29–35, Psalm 99 and Luke 9:28-36. Rev. Elias’s message was entitled “Defining Experiences.” Kathy Frank served as liturgist. Musicians included Barbara Greene, Manh Ong and Cathy Sapunor.
Rev. Elias presented the anthem, leading the congregation in “Morning Has Broken.”
Communion was served and donations of canned and packaged goods for the for the SSIP Food Closet were accepted.
