Rev. Jesse Larson led today’s service, which observed Pentecost, considered the “birth of the Christian church.” Everyone was invited to wear red, the color of Pentecost. Communion was served. The scripture, read by elder Jackie Sneed, was Acts 2: 1-13. Pianist Natalya Amelchenko presented music and accompanied the congregation in the hymns:
